Sophia Mitiku is a Korean-Ethiopian singer, songwriter, and sound artist whose work drifts between R&B, pop, trip-hop, and electronic music, weaving together post-genre experimentation with a contemporary edge. Her debut album, Copacabana (2022), earned an honorary mention for the GigaHertz Award for Experimental Music and Sound Art, marking her arrival as an artist and a producer. Sophia’s crafts innovative yet nostalgic soundscapes with a pop sensibility that doesn't scream for attention but earns it through sonic seduction.

In her current work, Mitiku draws from East African and Korean folklore and futurism, threading themes of migration, memory, ritual, and change into her music.
